Embracing Imperfection in Abstract Vessels - April 5,6,12,13

$375.00

Join us for the fifth in the series of empowering monthly workshops, "A Journey of Self-Discovery Through Art," designed exclusively for women seeking to explore their creativity while embarking on a transformative quest of self-discovery. Each session will provide a safe and nurturing space for participants to express themselves and connect with a community of women.

This month, we’ll delve into the beauty of imperfection through the creation of abstract vessels focusing on freedom of form and expansion through release of expectation.

In this transformative workshop, we’ll explore the concepts of wabi-sabi—the art of finding beauty in imperfection and embracing the underlying beliefs/stories/agreements as they apply to our own lives. As we work with clay, you’ll learn to let go of the pursuit of perfection, allowing your authentic self to shine through. Each vessel you create will become a reflection of your journey, celebrating the unique shapes and textures that arise when we embrace our true selves.

Together, we’ll engage in thoughtful discussions about how this practice can influence the perspectives we hold about ourselves and the world around us. How can we find grace in our flaws? How do the cracks of our experiences contribute to our beauty?

No prior experience with ceramics is needed; this workshop welcomes all levels. All materials will be provided, and we encourage you to come with an open heart and a willingness to explore. You will be provided with enough clay to make as many vessels as you can in the time provided.
